Her godmother, Vickie, got her a beautiful, white dress to commemorate the occasion.
It was like a regular mass on steriods. We had eight deacons, priests, a soon to be bishop and the bishop of our Diocese attend the mass. They first were confirmed, right after the homily, and then they received their First Eucharist at communion time. Mary even drank the blood of Jesus, which tasted a little bit like 'bitter cranberry juice with alcohol'. Her face afterwards was classic.
After the mass, we celebrated at the 5 and Diner with a chocolate shake with a cherry on top. A beautiful way to end a truly blessed evening.
