I wanted to start writing into this space, as a way to scrapbook my life. I have always loved writing a diary, but lately, I haven't found the time. Now, my life is about more than just me, it's about my family. My very own, very grown up family. I am now the wife. I am now the mom. I am now the one with the responsibilities.
Soon after Mary was born, I started to scrapbook with colored paper and embellishments. As time went on, and I had the twins, I found that I didn't have the time nor creativity nor energy to scrap like other mothers. And with this blog, I wave the little white flag and surrender my paper cutter and my rubber stamps. When I download pictures from my camera, they can stay in the computer. I give.
I promise to bore the reader (if any) of the daily grind of my life with kids. I promise to add pictures as they come on to the computer. I promise to stay real and true to myself. I will state any opinion that I have, cause not only am I a mom, but I am a woman, a human. I figure if you don't know me yet, you should get a feel of who I am through my writing. I hope, in the end, my kids get a feel for who I am, when I am not being their mom.
So without further adieu, here is a glimpse of what we are in for:
Well, that didn't go well. I had planned on posting a nutty video of my peanuts, but it did not work. Hmmmmmmmmm. I will work on that and get back to you. Meanwhile enjoy the above picture, which, ha, funny enough, I was able to download. It's a picture of Mary and Katie from our first real Girls' Night from the end of May 2008.
Until next time....
