Yet another bus story!

Good Grief!

Bobby has been suspended off the bus for three days next week. This is the story as I know it.....
Last Friday, the kids came home from school. Bobby turned the corner and I saw him with his thumb already in his mouth and he was looking at me above his glasses. This is the look of an unhappy boy. I asked him what happened and of course I hear the yipping of two young girls. They were clamoring that the boy that he sits with wrote 'Boby was here' on the seat in front of them. Then Bobby piped in, 'Yeah, I am going to be in BIG trouble'. I told him if he didn't do anything wrong then he has nothing to worry about.

Tuesday, Bob got a call from the bus driver stating that Bobby wrote his name on the seat in front of him and now he will serve a three day suspension from the bus. Bob calls me and I flip out because, I know that he didn't do it. So I interrogate Bobby again and he sticks to his story and Mary (who sits across from him) confirms the story. I believe my kids are not lying. If they had been lying I would have heard a different story than I heard on Friday. So, armed with the facts that the kid who sits with him spelled his name 'Boby' instead of 'Bobby' and that Bobby did not have a marker in his backpack, I called the bus supervisor and told her our side of the story. She believed me, having a history with our family, but rules are rules and everyone involved has to serve their time. She said that next time he needs to speak up and report it right away. Yeah, right, this is Bobby we are talking about. He doesn't speak more than he has to.
In the end, I did manage to have Bobby's seat changed so he doesn't have to sit with this kid anymore.

Suffice it to say, there won't be any bus incidents the first three days of December and for that I am thankful.

That's crap!!!! Truth should always prevail. I would hope they talked to that kid. He should be suspended too.

She wouldn't come out and say he was suspended, but she did say all parties were dealt with in the same manner. LOL!
